Penn-Ohio All-Star Football Classic

Pennsylvania topped Ohio 21-0 in the 40th annual Penn-Ohio All-Star Football Classic held at Geneva College Wednesday night.

Lawrence County players Nate McCutcheon, Braydon Cameron and Parker Lyons of Mohawk and Coulton Cunningham of Ellwood City Lincoln were members of the Pennsylvania roster. Mohawk assistant coach Dicky Robb served as an assistant for the Pennsylvania team.

Pennsylvania head coach Joe Hamilton, formerly of Blackhawk High, served as the coach of the first Penn-Ohio game and returned last night for the 40th.

Pennsylvania now holds the series lead over Ohio at 23-14-3. Ohio won the three previous years by a total of six points. The Pennsylvania players are nominated by the head coach at their school, then the Pennsylvania coaching staff selects the team.

The individual schools all are part of the Midwestern Athletic Conference Coaches Association, which has four Lawrence county schools (Mohawk, Laurel, Shenango and Ellwood City) along with those from Beaver, Butler and Allegheny counties.
