Sites and times for this week's district semifinals have been set for teams involving Lawrence County teams, the WPIAL and District 10 announced over the weekend.

On Monday night, the Laurel High girls play their first-ever district semifinal against Brentwood at Moon High School for a 6 p.m. tipoff. The winner of that game advances to Thursday's WPIAL Class 2A championship game against the Bishop Canevin-Our Lady of the Sacred Heart winner.

On Tuesday in District 10 Class 2A boys action, Wilmington High faces off against section foe Lakeview at 6 p.m. at Sharon High School. Wilmington won the two previous meetings this season. The winner of that game plays the Farrell-West Middlesex winner in the District 10 final on Friday night.

Wednesday night features two WPIAL No. 1 seeds continuing their playoff runs. In Class 3A girls, Neshannock High draws Avonworth for a 6 p.m. game at Moon High School. The Lady Lancers defeated Avonworth twice already this season in section play, winning 61-42 and 56-35.

The winner plays the Shady Side-South Park winner in the WPIAL final at the Petersen Events Center at the University of Pittsburgh. The championship game tipoff is at 11 a.m.

The New Castle High boys attempt to make it three straight trips to the WPIAL Class 4A final when they take on Highlands for an 8 p.m. game at North Allegheny High School. The winner plays the Ambridge-Quaker Valley winner in Saturday afternoon's final at 1 p.m. at the Petersen Events Center at the University of Pittsburgh.
