Food and family are Mercer County native Lucia Pompa and her cousin Phyllis Lombardi’s two biggest loves. Pompa and Lombardi say family life has evolved over the year, but the cousins are doing their part to “carry the torch” for their Italian traditions. Lombardi and Pompa moved from Italy to Mercer County when they were 14 years old and 18 months old, respectively.
