Editor, The News:

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the people who have helped us through this very difficult time.

Ann and Donnie Staransky stood by us while we were at our Pearson Street home, waiting for them to find our loved ones.

Brian Payne tried to tell the firemen there were people in the house before we got there.

The kids in the neighborhood supported Michael (Dawn’s son).

The nurses at Jameson Hospital, Anna Zumpella and Donna Cochran, were great and they truly go above and beyond what their job requires them to.

The doctors and nurses tried to bring back our beautiful angel, Josalyn. We know they did their best.

The First Assembly of God Church on Pulaski Road has been a wonderful support system. We may not have made it through this if not for the aid of Pastor Myers and Janice Angleton. Pastor Shawn was there for Michael and the whole congregation has been wonderful.

Rusty Noga made this awful situation as bearable as possible. He displayed great patience and also went above and beyond what his job asks of him.

As for those who helped monetarily, emotionally and with prayers, there are no words to express how much we appreciate them.

It is wonderful to know there are still very good-hearted people around.
