Union Township has set its annual Spring Clean-up for the last week of April and the first week of May.

The clean-up will be similar to last year’s when residents were invited to take their items to a dumpster at the municipal building.

Further details will be announced, township supervisors said, when they meet Thursday.

Residents also can drop their limbs and branches to Scotland Meadows Park in an area past the pavilions. The township will mulch them.

Supervisors also agreed to let the Lawrence County/New Castle Horseshoe League use the park on Wednesday evenings from May 6 to Sept. 30.
