The Neshannock Elementary School students will use their talents to posthumously honor a former school employee.

Diane Perrott, who passed away last August due to ocular melanoma, had often expressed a desire to stage a talent show to highlight the students.

The event was the brainchild of Staci Norris, elementary technology teacher.

“In Diane’s honor, we decided to organize a show and raise money for the Ocular Melanoma Foundation,” said Mindy Nichols, physical education instructor and one of the people helping with the event. Heather Collins, school nurse, is also assisting.

The fundraiser is scheduled for 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Neshannock High Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students at the door. Children under two will be admitted free.

There will be a concession stand and door prizes.
