Two citations have been issued locally by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Enforcement.

Ralph N. Cialella Jr. of 423 W. Washington St. was cited April 10, and the Branding Iron Bar and Grille Inc. at 221 Benjamin Franklin Parkway was cited June 5.

Cialella was cited for failure on Feb. 11, 2018, to require patrons to vacate the area in which alcoholic beverages are served no later than one half-hour after the required time for cessation of serving; for permitting patrons to possess and/or remove beverages from that area after 2:30 a.m. on that same date; for selling alcoholic beverages after the business’ liquor license had expired on June 30, 2018; and for permitting smoking in a public place where it is prohibited on May 18, 2018.

The charges were brought before an administrative law judge, who ordered the licensee to pay a fine of $1,800.

The Branding Iron is alleged to have sold, furnished and/or permitted the sale or furnishing of alcoholic beverages to a minor on April 19, 2019.

The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge.
