Township pavilion rental starts March

Pavilions at Union Township's Scotland Meadows Park may be reserved beginning March 1.





Township residents may call on March 1 to reserve dates. Those living outside the township may reserve one of the three park pavilions starting March 2.





Pavilion rental is $50 per day. This is an increase from last year's fee of $35.





Township supervisors said additional funds are needed to upgrade electricity, for repairs and for cleanups.





The township also plans this year to construct a park gazebo.
