•Burglary. Someone broke into a shed in the 200 block of Ashland Avenue between Wednesday and Saturday and stole five extension cords, each measuring 20 to 50 feet in length and four truck tire rims. A small porch was damaged.


•Criminal mischief. Two residents of Guadalcanal Road reported that someone damaged their mailboxes and posts around 3 a.m. yesterday.

•Theft A black Ford Edge car was reported stolen from a driveway of a house on Clen-Moore Boulevard overnight Wednesday to yesterday. Anyone who has information is asked to contact the police at (724) 636-9300.

•Kitchen fire. Firemen were called to the 100 block of West Elizabeth Street about 4:25 p.m. Wednesday. Firemen said a burning toaster had been tossed outside before they arrived.


•Assault. A juvenile resident of the Youth Development Center punched a 38-year-old male counselor in the face around 4 p.m. Feb. 13. A juvenile petition has been filed against the youth.

•Theft. A Scott Township man’s debit card was stolen from his home and several withdrawals totaling $239.50 were made between Feb. 11 and 12. Charges are pending.
