STATE

•Theft. On Houk Road, Slippery Rock Township, between Dec. 2 and Monday. Approximately 30 green metal fence posts were stolen. The posts were used to support green mesh fencing around a property. Anyone with information are asked to contact state police at (724) 598-2211.

•Accident. About 5:30 p.m. March 17 on Princeton Station Road, Slippery Rock Township. Police said an unknown driver was westbound while Bruce E. Urby, 56, of New Castle was eastbound on a motorcycle. The westbound driver traveled into the eastbound lane, struck the motorcycle, then fled west, police said. No injuries were reported.

•Theft. Police said two men entered a Valley View Road home in Little Beaver Township about 11:15 p.m. Thursday and took a purse from a woman who lived there.

•Fraud. Someone fraudulently used a credit card owned by a Slippery Rock couple to make online purchases. Police said this took place before March 18.

NESHANNOCK

TOWNSHIP

•Accident. About 4:50 p.m. Monday on Mitchell Road. Nicholas John Cherichetti, 18, of 5 Moccasin Trail and Cody Michael Main, 19, of 633 Mount Jackson Road were traveling west and approaching Route 18. Police said Cherichetti stopped for traffic but Main failed to stop, hitting the rear of Cherichetti’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Police said Main is to be charged with summary careless driving.
