Someone snatched a purse from a Golden Hill Nursing Home employee as she walked through the parking lot, police said.
The woman told New Castle police as she had left the facility at 7 a.m. March 11 when a young man grabbed her purse and jumped into a dark car that had been parked next to hers in the lot.
The car, which was driven by another man, went down the alley behind the nursing home, she said.
The woman told police she ran after the car screaming.
She told officers her bag, which had been tossed out of the vehicle, was recovered in the alley. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
