Ellwood City police have arrested a couple for allegedly stealing money from the office of a tanning business. Aaron Ennis, 18, and his girlfriend, 18-year-old Megan Wilhelm, both of 200 Park Ave., Ellwood City, went into California Tan at 605 Lawrence Ave. around 8 p.m. Monday and while Wilhelm distracted employees, Ennis went into the office and stole an undetermined amount of cash, police said. They both ran out of the store and were chased by a customer. Police located the pair shortly after the alleged theft. Each is charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy. The charges were mailed to them by summons and their preliminary hearing is 9:30 a.m. March 13 in Lawrence County Central Court.
