A teenager charged in two shootings has waived the charges to court.
Forest Gilmore, 17, of 706 Etna St. remains in the Lawrence County jail on $50,000 bond. He is charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of instruments of crime and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.
The charges stem from an incident in which shots were fired at a car on West Lincoln Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 29.
Represented by attorney Stephen Delpero, , Gilmore, waived to court charges in a second case. He faces two counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, 11 counts of recklessly endangering another person, one count of carrying a concealed firearm without a license and one count of possession of a firearm by a minor. Those charges stem from in a shooting about 9 p.m. July 1 on Pin Oak Drive in Crestview Gardens.
Two charges of aggravated assault were withdrawn. He remains in the county jail on $100,000 bond on the second set of charges.
Also withdrawn were charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person stemming from an incident July 12 at St. Paul Baptist Church on West North Street.
