M. Davidson and Associates of Jamestown, Pa., was hired this week to operate the Pulaski Township sanitary sewer treatment plant. The contract was approved Monday at a special meeting of the township municipal authority, according to secretary Janet Kapraly. The agency will be responsible for sampling, arranging for sludge drying beds and disposing of sludge. It also will respond to emergency calls regarding grinder pumps or sewer line problems. Also at the special session, the authority mandated the recommendation of manufacturers and will require that 30 amp breakers be installed for all grinder pumps.
