An 11-year-old who ran into the side of a car was treated at Jameson Hospital.

Pennsylvania state police said the girl was knocked to the ground and treated for a foot injury. Her name was not released.

Police said the girl had been waiting for her school bus at the intersection of Spring Street and South Lee Avenue in Union Township at 7:20 a.m. Friday. According to officers, she began crossing Spring Street when a vehicle, driven by Martha J. Stump, 72, of Edinburg, turned from South Lee Avenue onto Spring Street.
