The second annual Car Show at the Station is scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in West Pittsburg. The show is a fund-raiser for the restoration of the former P--amp;LE Railroad station on Route 168 in West Pittsburg. The station is being transformed in a museum and will open at 11 a.m. Cars, trucks, vans, SUVs -- even motorcycles -- are welcome at the show. There is no registration fee, although donations will be appreciated. The first 100 cars will receive dash plaques, and the top 15 cars each will receive a plaque as well. Trophies also will go to the People's Choice and Best-of-Show winners. In addition to cars, there will be food, dancing, a cash giveaway, a Chinese auction and entertainment for children. More information is available by calling (724) 775-4607 or (724) 384-0363.
