A Slippery Rock Township driver was uninjured after a truck hit her from behind, causing her to hit her house.

Police said Sally Casuccio, 72, of 4323 Ellwood Road was driving north on Ellwood Road around noon when she  slowed to make a turn into her driveway.

A pickup truck driven by Alan K. Haswell, 39, of Ellwood City, was following behind her and hit her, pushing Casuccio’s car into her house, according to reports.

Haswell, who was not injured, told a state trooper that he had been distracted.

Police said both drivers wore safety belts.

Haswell was cited for following another vehicle too closely.
