Arts & Education at the Hoyt is seeking high school artists for the 2021 annual Lawrence County Student Show. While the competition has been offered for a number of years, the process and incentives to enter have changed.

Entries will no longer be delivered by the school district. Students who wish to complete must self-submit up to three entries to the Hoyt by 4 p.m. March 6. Entries are welcome earlier, but will not be accepted after this date.

First-, second- and third-place prizes will no longer be awarded per school district. Instead, the money has been pooled to offer one $500 first-place prize, one $250 second-place prize, one $100 third-place prize, and up to six $50 merit awards. There is no entry fee.

Most media will be considered with the exception of video and installation. Public, private and homeschooled students residing in Lawrence County and currently enrolled in grades nine through 12 are eligible.

All entries will be exhibited at The Confluence March 30 through June 3.
