Everyone in the courtroom agreed yesterday.

Gary F. Felasco will have a better chance at a fair trial if the proceeding is moved out of town.

Visiting Common Pleas Senior Judge Michael J. Wherry yesterday granted a change of venue to the Lawrence County treasurer, who is facing criminal charges of theft, embezzlement and conflict of interest.

Wherry also agreed that the conflict of interest charge should be heard separately. Conceivably, it could call for a second trial, he said.
