Schools on Screens

Schools on Screens highlights stories from local schools, and we invite you to jump on to each Monday to check them out. The content is student-inspired, student-created.

This week's video is from students at Wilmington Area School District, led by teacher Patrick Matsook.

They highlight the different spring sports teams at Wilmington, and discuss their individual goals for the season.

Track and Field head coach J.R. McFarland outlined his idea of success in the video:

"What makes a team successful is really the individuals that you have on the team, and that would involve the coaches, and that would involve the athletes. I don't think a successful team is necessarily only on wins/losses, and it has to do with the people you have working for you, or working with you. We have a great coaching staff this year, and we have a great group of athletes that we're very, very proud of."
