Registration for treat bags from Santa will begin Nov. 7 in Wampum.

The treat bags are given to children after the Wampum area Christmas parade, which has been set for Dec. 6 this year.

Immediately following the parade, children can go to the L. Butler Hennon Gymnasium across from the municipal building. There, they can visit with Santa and exchange their registration ticket for a treat bag.

Treat bags are free for Wampum borough residents and cost $7 per bag for non-residents. Everyone must register in advance for a treat bag and non-residents also must pay for their treat bags in advance. All children must have a registration ticket in order to receive a treat bag from Santa after the parade.

Registration will be at the Wampum Municipal Building on Main Street Extension at the following times:

•6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 7

•10 a.m. to noon Nov. 8

•6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14

•10 a.m. to noon Nov. 15

•6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 21

•10 a.m. to noon Nov. 22
