The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has scheduled private and commercial pesticide applicator exams in New Wilmington.

The sessions will be Nov. 14 at the Western Reserve Farm Cooperative facility.

They are scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and applicants will have three hours to complete the tests.

Study materials can be obtained through Penn State extension offices or online.

Private exams are offered at no charge and are open book. Commercial core exams are closed book, while the category exams are open book.

There is a $50 fee for the commercial core exam and $10 fee for each category exam. Only checks or money orders will be accepted the day of testing.
