Victor A. “Pal” “Bibbers” Rosati, 94, of Riverside Apartments died the night of Jan. 14, 2009, in Golden Hill Nursing Home.

He was born Nov. 9, 1914, in New Castle, a son of the late John and Theodora Tomasetti Rosati.

He was married to the former Carmella Cutri. She died April 12, 1997.

Mr. Rosati was a caster at Universal Rundle, retiring after 38 years.

He was a member of the Sons of Italy and a social member of the Croton Dukes.

Mr. Rosati was an avid golfer.

He was a member of St. Vitus Church.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lena Rosati, Anthony and Mary Ann Rosati, and Vincent and Laurell Rosati, all of New Castle; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Rosati; two sisters, Louise Rispoli and Helen Donofrio; and one grandson.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.

A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rev. John Petrarulo, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
