Evelyn E. Clark, 85, of Kay Street, Wampum, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in her home.

Born March 9, 1923, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Clark M. and Sarah Spiker Stoner.

A homemaker, she worked at the former Shenango China as a liner.

She was a former member of Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church. Currently, she was a member of Wampum Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Bible study group and the Forever Young Ones.

She was a member of the Wampum Area Seniors.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Tom McCormick of New Castle, and Ellen and Bob Rowley of Wampum; four grandchildren, Sara Bain, David Rowley, Tom McCormick and John McCormick; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Stoner; a son, Thomas Clark; and a great-granddaughter, Sara Rebecca Haffley.

Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St., Wampum.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. William R. McGary will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oak Park Cemetery.
