Callista A. Taylor, 82, of Las Vegas died Nov. 30, 2008.

She was born Sept. 2, 1926, in New Castle.

Mrs. Taylor was a resident of Nevada for 27 years.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Taylor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and “Moon” Mullen, Karen and Richard LoBello, Maureen and Albert Richards, Mary Eileen and Doug Lechleitner, and Judy and Barry Voigt; sons, Ben Taylor, David Taylor, Michael Taylor and Ed Taylor; grandchildren, Albert and Tara Richards, Christina and Joe Mullen, Alison Deisher, Kiley, Sam and Paul Lechleitner, Eddie and Benjamin Taylor, and Nicholas and Matthew Voigt; great-grandson, Matthew McKenzie; and brothers and sister-in-law, John and Bertha Smith, Jim Smith, David Smith and Robert Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin P. Taylor; sisters, Kate Kelly and Eileen Green; brothers, Joseph Smith and Edward Smith; and her parents, Edward and Delia Smith.

Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Davis Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Thomas More Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
