Anna Mae McCutcheon, 75, of 447 Thornhill Drive died the morning of April 22, 2009, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born June 29, 1933, in Ellwood City, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Cola Palagallo.

She married Charles H. McCutcheon on July 10, 1954. He survives.

Mrs. McCutcheon was a homemaker.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and her hobbies included reading, playing piano and being a homemaker.

She attended Victory Christian Center, Coitsville Campus.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jody and Dave Calvert of Warren, Pa., and Sheri and Mark Summers of New Castle; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles McCutcheon III of Wampum, and Michael and Valerie McCutcheon of Onancock, Va.; three brothers, Adam Palagallo of Whittier, Calif., and Joseph Palagallo and Nick Palagallo, both of Wampum; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Esther Reynolds, Jennie Sweikowski and Florence Valentino; two brothers, Albert and Orlando Palagallo; and a daughter-in-law, Debra McCutcheon.

Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Road and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Victory Christian Center, Coitsville Campus.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Rev. Dave Drespling will officiate.

Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery, Wampum.
