Ann Bullano Benigas, 80, died in Las Vegas on Jan. 7, 2009.

She was born to John and Lena Delillo Bullano on July 4, 1928.

She attended schools in New Castle, including the former Lincoln Garfield, Ben Franklin Junior High and New Castle High School.

She was a waitress at the former Coach and Lantern Restaurant for many years.

She married Stanley Janis of New Castle, and later married Ben Benigas and moved to Las Vegas.

She leaves two sons, John Janis and Bennett Benigas Jr.; a daughter, Jeana Tolliver; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Marie of Toledo, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Edith Bullano of New Castle; and a sister, Norma Gesue of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Vito Bullano, and James Bullano and his wife, Marie.

She leaves several grandchildren, John Janis Jr., Shane Janis, Matthew Partridge, Cody Tolliver, Brandon Tolliver and Nichole Ann Benigas in Las Vegas; and several cousins and friends in New Castle.

She was a member of St. Vitus Church in New Castle and also in Las Vegas.

She was a waitress for many years in Las Vegas until she retired.

She has lived with her son, Bennett, in Las Vegas for many years.

She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Vitus Church at a later date.

Arrangements are by Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas.
