Albert J. “Cookie” Mangino, 64, of East Lutton Street died the night of Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in Jameson Hospital.

He was born Nov. 11, 1943, in New Castle, a son of the late Albert A. and Jenny Paglia Mangino.

He married the former Patricia M. Ragnelli on Feb. 26, 1966. She survives.

Mr. Mangino was self employed.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Mangino was a member of Church of God on Highland Avenue.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marialana “Mia” and Robert Burton of Beaver Falls; a son and daughter-in-law, Albert “Albee” and Eileen Mangino of New Castle; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Julie Mangino of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren, Taylor Mangino, Albert “Jibby” Mangino, Joshua Mangino and Robert D. Burton Jr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason C. Mangino.

Visitation is 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.

A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday for the Church of God, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Pastor Ronald A. Mounts of the church will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
