NEW CASTLE — The Wilmington school district is looking for a new psychologist.

Cynthia Wright, school Psychologist, resigned, effective April 14. Acting superintendent Jennifer Conrad said the position will be posted internally before being advertised.

Barringer is replacing middle school science teacher Jennifer Horodyski, who resigned the advisory position. She will be paid $640 for serving as Science Olympiad adviser from Sept. 3 to Dec. 6.

Also at the meeting, the board:

•Added Dawn Marie Lunnen of New Wilmington, Amanda Sipe of Pulaski and Tony Cimoric of Mercer to the support staff substitute list.

•Granted cafeteria worker Sarah McBride an unpaid three-month leave of absence, beginning Nov. 25.
