NEW CASTLE —
Rachel Elizabeth Brieck and Evan James Wilson were married at 5 p.m. Aug. 3, 2012, at Pinnacle Golf Club, Grove City, Ohio. The Rev. Brian Hammond officiated.
Parents of the bride are Michael and Eileen Brieck of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Parents of the groom are James and Mary Jo Wilson of Volant.
The bride wore a whimsical lace strapless silk organza dress with a fitted bodice covered in tiny hand-cut organza flowers and sparkling beads. The dress was made by Augusta Jones.
Her bouquet contained yellow dahlias, craspedia, freesia and spray roses with white cymbidium orchids and garden roses wrapped in white ribbon.
Pianist was Ian Brieck, the bride’s brother.
Flower girl was Sasha Brieck, the bride’s niece, of Austin, Texas.
Serving as maid of honor was Colleen Brieck, the bride’s sister, of Washington, D.C.
Bridesmaids were Meghan Cowart, the grooms’ sister, of New Castle, Brittany Taylor, the groom’s sister, of Rittman, Ohio, Caitlin King of Columbus, Ohio, Meredith Kozak of Columbus, Morgan Copp of Boston and Jen Coppola of Columbus.
Kendall Kerr, the groom’s cousin, of Charlotte, N.C. was best man.
Groomsmen were Neil Gealy of Miami, Caleb Hammond of New Castle, Ian Brieck, the bride’s brother, of Honolulu, KK Wireko of Chicago, Matthew Rupp of Columbus and Tim Duning of Columbus.
The reception was held at the Pinnacle Golf Club.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The bride is a graduate of Lakewood High School and Ohio State University.
She is a registered respiratory therapist at Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State.
Her husband graduated from Laurel High School and Ohio State University. He is a graduate student at Ohio State in public health and environmental health sciences.
The newlyweds make their home in Columbus.
