Natalie Susan DeCarbo and Terry Jack James Dolquist

Natalie Susan DeCarbo and Terry Jack James Dolquist were married at a 4 p.m. ceremony Nov. 7, 2009, in the lobby of the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Officiating was the Rev. Dr. Raymond I. Hylton.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Anthony “Bo” DeCarbo Sr. of New Castle.

The groom is a son of Linda Roush of Wilton, Iowa.

The bride wore an ivory strapless Monique Luo gown. The A-line dress featured beaded dropped waist and bodice, with a skirt of vertical, cascading ruffles of organza and tulle.

Her bouquet, created by Katie Mazzei, featured a mixed selection of red, orange, yellow and purple fall flowers surrounding ivory, mango and pale green calla lilies.

During the ceremony, the bride and groom placed ivory roses on five empty chairs to symbolize loves ones who have passed away.

Matron of honor was Christina Meyer Diglaw of Boardman, Ohio.

Bridesmaids were Amanda Reisker, Kristen Kelly, Thea Togisala Vitale, Lynn Alcantara and Julie Dougherty, all of New Castle; Robyn Dougherty of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Stephanie Butler of Danville, Va.

Junior bridesmaids were Ashley Butler of Danville and Abbie Dolquist, groom’s daughter, of New Castle.

Best man was Tanner Clark, groom’s son, of New Castle.

Ushers were Kevin Seelbaugh, Sean Kelly, Steve Wiseman, Ryan Quahliero and Brian Cuscino, all of New Castle; A.J. DeCarbo, brother of the bride, of Pittsburgh, and Bryce Dolquist, son of the groom, of New Castle.

Vocalists were Dr. Anthony Geramita, Angela Toscano and Katie Mazzei.

Angela Toscano was pianist and Anthony Pecoraro was trumpeter.

The reception also took place at the Scottish Rite Cathedral.

After honeymooning in Hawaii, the newlyweds make their home in New Castle.

The bride is a graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Youngstown State University.

She is the transportation operations coordinator for ACTS Inc.

Her husband graduated from Highland High School in Hardy, Ark.

He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and is with the Pennsylvania National Guard, having just returned from Taji, Iraq, serving Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He is a New Castle police officer.
