NEW CASTLE —
Loren Kae Allison and Adam Joel Hammerschmidt were married at 5:30 p.m. June 9, 2012, at New Wilmington Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Ralph Hawkins and David Hunter, a second cousin of the groom, officiated.
Parents of the bride are James and Jodi Allison of Edinburg.
Parents of the groom are Joel and Sonya Hammerschmidt.
The bride wore a strapless satin ball gown with a sweetheart neckline that included delicately beaded lace appliqués with a tulle underlay and chapel train. Her bouquet contained assorted blue hydrangeas, white tiger lilies and white stephanotis with pearls in the middle.
Matron of honor was Rachel Hostetler of Pulaski.
Bridesmaids were Taylor Allison, the bride’s sister, of Edinburg, Megan Allison, the bride’s sister, of Edinburg, Kara Kendall of Pulaski, Shanay Phillian of Pulaski and Mollie McMillan of New Wilmington.
Flower girl was Jenna Allison, the bride’s cousin, of New Wilmington.
Ring bearer was Logan Hammrschmidt, the groom’s cousin, of Greenville.
Serving as best man was Austin Martin of Volant.
Groomsmen were Micheal Thompson of Cleveland, Jerrod Cornelius of Slippery Rock, Tyler Patton of State College, David Adams of Bloomsburg, Pa. and Brad George of Volant.
The reception was at The New Englander Banquet Room.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
The bride is a graduate of Wilmington High School and Penn State University.
Her husband is also a graduate of Wilmington High School and Penn State. He is self employed.
The newlyweds make their home in Volant.
