Megan Kristine Seeger and Todd J. DeHays

Megan Kristine Seeger and Todd J. DeHays were married at a 3:30 p.m. ceremony on June 20, 2009, at Broad Street Presbyterian Church, Grove City. The Rev. Jessie Commeret officiated.

Parents of the bride are M. Marlene Seeger of Rochester, Pa., and the late William R. Seeger who died in February of 2008.

Her grandparents are Joseph and Marian Fennick of New Castle.

Parents of the groom are Barbara DeHays of Upper Arlington, Ohio, and Rick and Jane DeHays of Carey, Ohio.

The bride’s cream and oyster colored gown was made by Mon Cheri Bridals. It featured French tulle and lace, chapel train and Swarovski crystals.

Judy Bixler from Beaver made the French veil using French net, lace and crystals.

Her bouquet contained coral and white mums and Fuji mums with ivory and white satin ribbon.

Matron of honor was Melissa Mautz, bride’s sister of Ripon, Calif.

Bridesmaids were Ashley Kin, groom’s sister of Celina, Ohio, Alicia Droz of Philadelphia, Jessica Danze of Wheeling, W.V., Jennifer Hull and Kim Yoder, both of Columbus, Ohio.

Flower girl was Harper Danze of Wheeling.

Ring bearer was Mason Danze of Wheeling.

Serving as best man was Brad DeHays, groom’s brother of Columbus.

Ushers were Matt DeHays, brother of the groom of Carey, Ohio, Jeremiah Jenkins of Columbus, Erik Huffman of Findlay, Ohio, Patrick Moore of Hilton Head, S.C., Tobi Kin of Celina, Ohio, Brady Mautz of Ripon, Calif., and Matt Cram of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Vocalist was Connie Carnicom.

Organist was Jim Hildreth.

Readers were Emily Smith of McConnelsville, Ohio, and Jaelen DeHays of Columbus.

The reception took place at North Bank Park, Columbus.

After honeymooning in Puerto Rico, the newlyweds make their home in Columbus.

The bride is a graduate of Freedom High School.

She earned her degree at Muskingum College where she majored in history and had minors in political science and education.

She is a school teacher.

Her husband graduated from Carey High School. He holds a degree from Shawnee State University where he majored in art. He earned his master of fine arts degree from Vermont College.

He is a Realtor.
