NEW CASTLE —
Brandi Gilmore and Adam C. McFarland were married at 6 p.m. July 5, 2013, at The Lakehouse Inn, Perkasie, Pa. The Rev. Robert vonFrisch officiated.
Parents of the bride are Edwin and Anita Gilmore of Naples, Fla., formerly of Edinburg.
Parents of the groom are Clifford and Eileen McFarland of Jim Thorpe, Pa.
The couple was married on a lake at sunset and the bride and groom read and recited their vows.
The bride wore a gown with a fit and flare bottom, sweetheart top with crystal belt embellishment and corset back and single layer veil.
Her bouquet contained a combination of cream, pink and white cottage roses, hydrangea and spray roses.
Matron of honor was Kelly Collins Romanczuk of West Chester, Pa.
Maid of honor was Breanne Smith, the bride’s cousin, of New York, formerly of New Castle.
Bridesmaid was Kelly Sutphin, the groom’s sister-in-law, of Jim Thorpe, Pa.
Serving as best man was Jordan LaRizzio of Jim Thorpe.
Groomsmen were Derick Reis of Jim Thorpe and Mark Klotz of Jim Thorpe.
Ushers were Andrew Sutphin, the groom’s brother-in-law, of Jim Thorpe and Zack Masino of Philadelphia.
Mini groomsman was Trent Sutphin, the groom’s nephew, of Jim Thorpe.
The reception took place at the Lakehouse Inn.
The couple spent their honey in islands of French Polynesia including Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora.
The bride is a graduate of Mohawk High School and received her master’s degree from Lehigh University. She is a school counselor.
Her husband graduated from Jim Thorpe High School and received his doctorate from the University of the Science in Philadelphia. He is a physical therapist.
The newlyweds make their home in the Lehigh Valley.
