NEW CASTLE —
Kendall Marie Montswil and Paul Christopher Cook were married at 1 p.m. July 20, 2013, at St. Mary Church. The Rev. Nicholas E. Vaskov officiated.
Parents of the bride are Kenneth and Marsha Montswil of Pulaski.
Parents of the groom are Christine Cook of Pulaski and the late Paul E. Cook.
Memorial flowers were placed at the altar in memory of the groom’s father and the bride’s maternal grandparents.
The bride wore a diamond white Maggie Sottero strapless A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset closure. The organza skirt was embellished with lace motif.
Her bouquet contained fuchsia peonies, sweet unique roses, calla lilies and Gerbera daisies with white wax flowers.
Vocalist was Dr. Ronald Yasher, the bride’s uncle, who was accompanied by James Hackett on organ and Jesse Croach on trumpet.
Matron of honor was Maggie Plotts of New Castle.
Maid of honor was Melissa Cook, the groom’s sister, of Pulaski.
Serving as best men were Jason Mathieson of Pulaski and Lee Plotts of New Castle.
The reception was held at the Alpine Room at SNPJ, Enon Valley.
The couple spent their honeymoon on Singer Island, Palm Beach, Fla.
The bride is a graduate of Wilmington High School and is a full-time student at Youngstown State University, where she studies early childhood education.
Her husband is a graduate of Wilmington High School. He is a wireman at Panelmatic in Youngstown.
The newlyweds make their home in Campbell, Ohio.
