Amber Lynn Fraser and Thomas Palfy

NEW CASTLE — Amber Lynn Fraser and Thomas Palfy were married at 2 p.m. Feb. 1, 2014, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The Rev. John Fraser officiated.

The bride wore a white satin ball gown with a beaded and lace corset and 4-feet-long train. Her veil was beaded with royal blue beads and made by her new sister-in-law, Amber Palfy.

Matron of honor was Samantha Hill of New Castle.

Bridesmaids were Rebecca Taylor of New Castle and Amber Palfy, the groom’s sister, of McKees Rocks.

Serving as best man was Steven Murphy of McKees Rocks.

Groomsmen were Ethan Febinger of Kittanning, Larry Hughes of McKees Rocks and Tyler Edgington, the bride’s brother, of New Castle.

The reception was held at The New Englander.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Senola, Ga., the site of “Woodbury” from “The Walking Dead,” Universal Studios, Orlando and Daytona Beach.

The bride is a graduate of New Castle High School and Pennsylvania Culinary Le Cordon Bleu.

She is a service professional at Greentree Olive Garden.

Her husband graduated from Robinson Township Christian School and attended Rosedale Tech.

He is a cook at Rigatoni’s in Bethel Park.

The newlyweds make their home in Pittsburgh.
