NEW CASTLE —
Amy Beth Lawrence and David Milton Evans were married at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 20, 2012, at Wallace Memorial Chapel of Westminster College. Larry Cole officiated.
Parents of the bride are Paul and Penny Lawrence of Mercer.
Parents of the groom are David C. and Kim Evans of Beaver Falls.
The bride wore an vintage ivory Allure gown with satin bodice, cafe colored sash at the dropped waist and beaded/embroidered organza overlay over the skirt with a long cathedral train and crystal headband with bird cage veil.
Her bouquet, which was designed by her mother, was created with silk flowers and fall leaves.
The bride was the ceremony vocalist by CD and the surprise performer for the groom during the unity candle lighting with “When God Made You.” Accompanists were Carol Miller on piano and Chris Masi on trumpet.
Matron of honor was Sheila Ogden of Pittsburgh.
Bridesmaids were Amber Smith, the bride’s cousin, of Canton, Ohio, Megan Izzo of New Wilmington, Kelly Finnegan of Fombell, Shamika Johnson of Oxford, Ohio and Chelsea Evans, the groom’s sister, of Beaver Falls.
Flower girl was Audrey Lawrence, the bride’s niece, of Mercer.
Ring bearer was Wyatt Lawrence, the bride’s nephew, of Mercer.
Serving as best man was Andy Pfaff of Beaver Falls.
Groomsmen were Casey Marburger of Beaver Falls, Johnny Elms of Beaver Falls, Elton Armady of Maryland, Ian Taylor, the bride’s nephew, of Mercer and Blaise Banko of Beaver Falls.
The reception was held at the Alpine Room of SNPJ.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Maine and the New England states.
The bride is a graduate of Wilmington High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State Behrend and her master’s degree at Miami University of Ohio.
She is student activities coordinator at Penn State Shenango.
Her husband graduated from Riverside High School and Westminster College. He works at Laurich’s Garage Doors.
The newlyweds make their home in Ellwood City.
