Bria Aili Tervo and Edward Ryan Westrick


Bria Aili Tervo and Edward Ryan Westrick were married at a 4:30 p.m. outdoor ceremony on Sept. 16, 2006, at the bride’s mother’s home in New Castle. Pastor Randy L. Crum officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Diana Tervo of 1537 Lindsey Road and the late Jim Tervo.

Parents of the groom are Ed and Linda Westrick of 2911 Glenda Drive.

At the outdoor ceremony overlooking a pond, the bride made her entrance down a path strewn with fresh rose petals.

Her ivory strapless gown featured a dropped waist accented with a mint green sash flowing into an A-line skirt. The bodice was embellished with platinum embroidery and crystals.

The bridal bouquet was a free-flowing nosegay consisting of gardenias, pink and ivory roses, stephanotis and green hypernum berries.

Matron of honor was Kirstan Tervo of New Wilmington.

Bridesmaids were Tara Burns, Rachel Henderson and Erin Geary, all of Pittsburgh and Melinda Werther of New Castle.

Best man was Craig Westrick, groom’s brother of Pittsburgh.

Ushers were Aaron Tervo of New Wilmington, Jake Schultz of Philadelphia, Jason Schafer and Matt Tormenti, both of Pittsburgh.

Vocalist was Kiley Neuroher and a string quartet also performed.

The ceremony included a remembrance candle lighted in memory of the bride’s father.

Austin Vanassa read a poem and Susan Perrotta read scripture.

The reception was at the New Castle Country Club.

After honeymooning at The Rivera Maya, Mexico, the newlyweds make their home at 191 Sarah St., Pittsburgh.

The bride is a 1999 alumna of Neshannock High School and a graduate of Duquesne University. She is a cardiology physician assistant at Southwestern Pennsylvania Cardiovascular Associates.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Laurel High School who earned degrees from Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is an orthopedic surgery resident at UPMC.
