NEW CASTLE —
Mark James Masson and Shannon Marie Elliott were married Nov. 3, 2012, in the Skyline Loft at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago. Pastor Adam Fronczek officiated.
Parents of the groom are James and Merrianne Masson of Neshannock Township.
Parents of the bride are Patrick and Linda Elliott of Muskego, Wis.
As a special wedding gift to his bride, the groom sang to her during the wedding.
The bridal party consisted of Tracy Masson, the groom’s sister of Scottsdale, Ariz., Deborah Gutfeld of Chicago, Sarah Tullo of Milford, Conn. and Kristen St. Lawrence of Milwaukee.
Flower girls were Ryann Steele and Wren Elliott, the bride’s goddaughters.
Ring bearer was Tyler St. Lawrence, the bride’s godson.
The groom’s party consisted of Brian Elliott, the bride’s brother, of Shorewood, Wis., Tom Barber of Washington, D.C., Jamie Gallagher of Chicago and Danny Resnick of Chicago.
The Silhouette Strings ensemble played throughout the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. The reception immediately followed the ceremony at the Skyline Loft.
The couple spent an extended honeymoon touring Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands.
The groom graduated from Penn State University with a degree in chemical engineering and the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. He is a principal at a consulting firm in Chicago.
The bride graduate from Arizona State University and Marquette University Law School and served as a captain in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps after law school. She is an in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 company in Chicago.
