NEW CASTLE —
Krista Nicole Wallace and Brandon James Ashton were married May 26, 2012, at Christ Lutheran Church by the Rev. Sean Walters.
Parents of the bride are Sanford Wallace of New Castle, and Jody and Joseph Wiley of Wampum.
Parents of the groom are Pamela Knapp of 563 Continental Lane and Bill Ashton of New Castle. The groom’s stepfather, Robert Knapp, is deceased.
The bride wore a white satin princess A-line gown with lace and beaded appliqués. It featured ruching detail and a chapel train. Her bouquet contained white calla lilies, tiger lilies, hand painted roses and purple accent flowers and was decorated with Swarovski crystals, pearls and a lady bug for good luck.
Matron of honor was Keri Wallace, the bride’s sister of Chewton.
Bridesmaids were Autum Sobel of Ellwood City, Chelsey Bucci of Ellwood City, Joni Durbin of Ellwood City, Hollian Smiley of Ellwood City, Amy DuBois of Ellwood City, Ashley Watt of Missouri and Rachel Douglas of New Castle.
Flower girls were Alivia Shablesky and Mackenzie Durbin of Ellwood City.
Ring bearer was Brian Wiley Jr., the bride’s nephew, of Wampum.
Serving as best man was Andrew G. Durbin of Ellwood City.
Groomsmen were Donald Vitale, the groom’s cousin of New Castle, Chris Vitale, the groom’s cousin, of New Castle, Brian Wiley, the bride’s stepbrother of Pymatuning, John Kingston of New Castle, Perry DuBois of Ellwood City, Brian Flesher of Pittsburgh, Justen Conti of New Castle and DJ Mudric of Wampum.
Organist was Carol Flamino.
The reception was at the New Englander Banquet Center.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Las Vegas.
The bride is a teller at First National Bank of Pennsylvania.
She is a graduate of Lincoln High School and Lawrence County Career and Technical Center.
Her husband graduated from Laurel High School. He works at Last Minit Mart.
The newlyweds make their home at 551 Continental Lane.
