Ashley Marie Petrucci and Jeffrey Carl Ginocchi were married at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 24, 2009, at St. Vitus Church. Officiating was the Rev. James Gretz.
Parents of the couple are Cecelia and Joseph Petrucci of 108 Maitland St. and Anita and Joseph Ginocchi of 219 Winter Road.
The bride wore an ivory, silk satin gown featuring a sweetheart neckline with crisscross detailing and an elongated bodice.
Her bouquet was filled with ivory roses accented with Friendship roses. The stems were wrapped in a champaign satin ribbon trimmed with pearls.
Matron of honor was Stacy Conti, sister of the bride, of New Castle.
Maid of honor was Kristin Ross of New Castle.
Bridesmaids were Stephane Mastropietro of New Castle, Denise Dellaverson, groom’s sister, of Joplin, Mo., Kathy Ginocchi of Columbus, Ohio, Carly Monaco of Fairfax, Va., Angela Sperdute of New Castle, Maria Varrati of New Castle, Nicole Lanigan of New Castle and Regina Smarrelli of New Castle.
Flower girls were Isabella Ginocchi of Columbus, Ohio, and Mia Ginocchi of Cranberry Township.
Best man duties were shared by Joseph Ginocchi and James Ginocchi, brothers of the groom, of Columbus, Ohio, and Cranberry Township, respectively.
Groomsmen were Ernie Dellaverson of Joplin, Mo., David Varrati of New Castle, Shane Lanigan of New Castle, Robert Hanna of New Castle, Sean Carter of State College, Chad Christopher of New Castle, Jona Elisco of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., John Colaiacovo of New Castle and Richard Conti of New Castle.
Junior groomsmen were Enzo Dellaverson of Joplin, Mo., and Nicholas Conti of New Castle.
The ring bearers were Angelo Ginocchi of Columbus and Joseph Mastropietro III of New Castle.
Vocalist was Rosanne Palladino.
Trumpeters were Chris Masi and Jessie Croach.
Readings were given by David Elisco, Joseph Ginocchi and Christine LaLama.
Presentation of gifts were by Frank Elisco, Carmella Hefferin, godmother of the groom; and Robert Cook, godfather of the bride.
Church decorations and favors were created by Leann Foster.
The reception followed at The Alpine Room at SNPJ.
The couple make their home in New Castle.
Both are graduates of New Castle High School and Slippery Rock University.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in special education and is employed by the New Castle Area School District.
He holds a degree in finance and is employed by PNC Bank.
