Melissa Ann Bannon and Craig Matthew Marsh were married at a 2 p.m. ceremony Oct. 17, 2009, at Highland Church of God.
Officiating was the Rev. John Bannon, uncle of the bride.
Parents of the bride are Chuck and Rosemary Bannon of 1808 Grove Ave.
The groom is a son of Terry and Sissy Ruppersberger of 1925 Mount Jackson Road, Enon Valley, and the late Ron Marsh.
The bride’s ivory, sheer organza over satin gown, featured elaborate beaded swirl motifs. It was accented by a silk sash at the waist with brooch-like beadwork.
Completing her ensemble were a garter and handkerchief of her grandmother’s.
She carried a colonial arrangement featuring wine lilies, orange astramaris and white roses accented with berries.
Matron of honor was Melissa Seiple of Canfield, Ohio.
There were two maids of honor, Jen Croach of New Castle and Julie Falba of New Castle.
Bridesmaids were Jeanette DiMuccio and Amanda Rodgers, both of New Castle, Crystal Bannon of Poland, Ohio, Nicole Joseph and Ann Annarella, both of New Castle.
Flower girl was Taylor Marsh of Greenville.
Junior groomsman was Ashton Marsh of Greenville.
Best man duties were shared between Joel Magno, the groom’s grandfather, and Joel Phillips, both of New Castle.
Groomsmen were Travis Marsh, groom’s brother, of Hillsville, Brian Gallagher of Hillsville, Billy Jenkins of New Castle, Brian Rodgers of New Castle, Charles Bannon, brother of the bride, of Poland, Teddy Adamczyk of Edinburg and Erik Frampton of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Ushers were B.C. Christopher and Andrew Vrabel, both of New Castle.
Vocalist was Shafica Kaleel.
Accompanists were Jesse and Pam Croach.
The reception was at The Alpine Room at SNPJ.
The couple will honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in February.
A graduate of Union High School, the bride holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Penn State University.
She is a chemistry teacher at Wilmington High School.
Her husband is a graduate of Mohawk High School. He is a laborer for Lindy Paving.
