Leslie Ann Cebula and Eric Edward Barrett

Leslie Ann Cebula and Eric Edward Barrett were married at a 2 p.m. ceremony Aug. 1, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta, Ohio. Officiating was the Rev. David Huffman and the Rev. Michael Campbell.

Parents of the bride are Raymond and Sondra Cebula of New Wilmington.

The groom is a son of Romona and the late James Michael Barrett of Vincent, Ohio.

The bride wore an ivory satin Oleg Cassini gown. The dress features a draped bow in the back and a chapel train. Her gold tone tiara held her mother’s cathedral-length veil.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas and pink sweet Akito roses with a salal collar. The flowers were wrapped in ivory satin ribbon and studded with pearls.

The maids of honor were the bride’s sisters, Jane Cebula of Leetsdale, Pa., and Suzanne Cebula of Sharpsville.

The bridesmaids were Alexandra Antonescu of Boston, Kate Jackson of Northridge, Calif., Monica Murray of Los Angeles and Sara Ross of Hollywood, Fla.

Junior bridesmaids were the groom’s nieces, Mariah Stollar, Marlee Stollar and Caroline Stollar of Marietta, Ohio.

Serving as the best man was Anthonio Fiore of Columbus, Ohio.

Groomsmen included the groom’s brother, James J. Barrett of Vincent, Ohio, Doug Foxx of Wooster, Ohio, Eric Kaufman of Christiansburg, Va., Shadrach Dvorak of New London, Ohio, and Rick Mead of Washington Court House, Ohio.

The reception was held at Sweetapple Farm featuring a five-tier white cake with the 1936 cake topper of Leslie’s grandparent’s, George and Helen Cebula.

The couple spent a week in Paris for their honeymoon before moving into their home in Vincent, Ohio.

The bride is a graduate of Wilmington High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Dayton. She is an anchor and reporter for WTAP-TV in Parkersburg, W.Va.

The groom is a graduate of Warren Local High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences and a master’s degree in agriculture economics from The Ohio State University. He serves as the county director and agriculture educator for OSU Extension, Washington County. He also helps his family operate Sweetapple Farm.
