Alane Caren Chiapusio and Blaine William Edwards were married at a 6 p.m. ceremony Oct. 2, 2009, at Moraine State Park. Officiating was the Rev. Dennis Bupp.
The wedding was a small ceremony that only included family.
Parents of the bride are Douglas and Vivian Chiapusio of 475 Patton Road. The groom’s parents are Ron and Diane Edwards of 6573 Old Route 422.
The bride wore a champagne colored tea-length dress. She carried a beautiful arrangement of fall colored flowers.
Matron of honor was Marisa Brice of Arlington, Va.
The flower girls were Delaney and Rylee Edwards, nieces of the groom of White Sulphur Springs, W.V.
Serving as best man was Brian Edwards, groom’s brother, of Ligonier.
The family dined at the Harmony Inn for dinner that evening, and then got ready for the reception that was held at The Tall Cedars Coffee Grounds at 3 p.m. the following day.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Gettysburg and the Poconos.
The bride is a graduate of Laurel High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is an elementary teacher.
Her husband is also a Laurel alumnus. He is production manager at Valley National Gases.
The newlyweds make their home in Ligonier.
