Regina Marie Roselli and Joseph Anthony Smarrelli Jr.

Regina Marie Roselli and Joseph Anthony Smarrelli Jr. were married at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 29, 2009, at St. Vitus Church. Officiating was the Rev. James Gretz.

Parents of the couple are Lou and Marcie Roselli of 16 E. Oakwood Way, and Joseph Sr. and Donna Smarrelli of 116 Greenfield Road.

The bride’s rich Bordeaux, taffeta strapless gown, featured cascading bustles over an embellished lace skirt. Handmade flowers are nestled within the bustles. A sleeveless lace bolero jacket completed her look.

Her traditional bouquet contained off-white roses, white Casablanca lilies, white stephanotis with pearl centers, enhanced with pure white calcinia, clear crystals and a crystal cross.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Nuzzo of Cranberry Township.

Matron of honor was Michele Roselli of New Castle.

The bridesmaids were Christa Nuzzo of Cranberry Township, and Michelle Smarrelli, Ashley Petrucci, Lacey Mangino, Rachel Henry, Danielle Savelli and Bethany Burick, all of New Castle.

Ring bearers were the bride’s twin nephews, Ryan Jr. and Bryan Roselli of New Castle.

Serving as best man was the groom’s brother, Jonathan Smarrelli of New Castle.

Groomsmen were Ryan Roselli Sr., bride’s brother, of New Castle, Chad Snyder of Phoenix, Joseph Fortuna of New Castle, Todd Seth of Pittsburgh, Jeffrey Massie of Washington, D.C., Joshua Sankey of New York City, Darrell Carley of New Castle and Steven Pagley of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Vocalist was James Rosa.

Accompanist was Jesse Croach.

The reception took place at The New Englander.

After honeymooning to Maui and Hawaii, the newlyweds make their home in Neshannock Township.

The bride is a graduate of Neshannock High School and Slippery Rock University.

She is employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Her husband is also a Neshannock alumnus who earned his degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

He is a mechanical engineer.
