Leigh Ann Falba and James G. Koginos

Leigh Ann Falba and James G. Koginos were married at a 3:45 p.m. ceremony Aug. 1, 2009, at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Pastor Thomas McCurdy officiated.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Falba of 803 Emerson Ave.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Koginos of 2201 Audley Ave.

Maid of honor was Patty Eppinger, the bride’s godmother, of New Castle.

Matron of honor was Bernadette Holmes of Panama City, Fla.

Bridesmaids, all of New Castle, were: Jackie Falba and Nikki Falba, bride’s sisters, and Sherri Stitt, Sheena Fair, Carrie Collick and Allison Farris.

Junior bridesmaid was Haley Hilke, bride’s daughter of New Castle.

Flower girls were Alexia Falba of New Castle and Sophie Holmes of Panama City, Fla.

Ring bearer was John Koginos, groom’s son, of New Castle.

Best man duties were performed by Andrew Koginos Jr., groom’s brother, of New Castle and Billy Grannis of New Castle.

Ushers were Chris Falba, bride’s son, of New Castle, Bob Johns of New Castle, Gram Holmes of Panama City, Fla., and Brian Falba, Rob King and Jason Hilton, all of New Castle.

Junior groomsman was James Koginos Jr., groom’s son, of New Castle.

Ceremony vocalists were Anthony Geramita and Renee Digia.

The reception followed at The Villa Banquet Center.

The couple have postponed their honeymoon.

The newlyweds make their home in New Castle.

The bride is a graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School. She works at Dunkin Donuts and volunteers for the Neshannock Township Fire Department.

Her husband is a graduate of the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center and earned a diploma in 1994 from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.

He is a corrections officer for Lawrence County Corrections.
