NEW CASTLE —
Angelica Marie Molinaro and Robert Philip Shaffer were married at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, at St. Vitus Church. The Rev. Nick Vaskov officiated.
Parents of the bride are Luca and Denise Molinaro, and Donna and Dave Cracraft.
Parents of the groom are Bob Shaffer, and Bobby and Tammy Abraham.
As the bride walked down the aisle, trumpets were played by Jesse Croach and his son, Brian.
The bride wore a slim A-line Maggie Sottero gown with a corset closure and lace shoulder strap glowing with beaded embellishments and a contemporary balloon hem train.
Her bouquet contained orange and magenta roses, orange and hot pink Gerbera daisies and purple dendrobium orchids with her grandmother’s rosary beads and two small picture frames with photos of the couple’s deceased grandfathers, Mike Molinaro and Ray Augustine.
Vocalist was Katie Mazzei who was accompanied by Anthony Geremita and Sarakate Coyne.
Maid of honor was Whitney Gealy of Texas.
Bridesmaids were Alicia Janacone, the bride’s sister, of New Castle, Jamie Brown of New Castle, Ashley Conti of New Castle, Amber Russell of New Castle, DeAnna Shaffer, the groom’s sister, of Ellwood City, Kate Cracraft, the bride’s sister-in-law, of New Castle, Vitalina Pisano, the bride’s cousin, of New Castle and Marina Pisano, the bride’s cousin, of New Castle.
Junior bridesmaid was Sofia Romeo, the bride’s cousin, of Lowellville.
Serving as best man was Patrick Powell of New Castle.
Groomsmen were Jim Janacone, the groom’s brother-in-law, of New Castle, Michael Molinaro, the bride’s brother, of New Castle, Kevin Jubach of New Castle, Jeremy Budai of New Castle, Mike Cancilla of Gibsonia, David Cracraft, the bride’s brother, of New Castle, Justin Hoffman of New Castle and Matt Ritchie of New Castle.
Serving as junior groomsman was Brock Watson, the groom’s cousin, of Mercer.
The reception was held at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Grand Exuma, Bahamas.
The bride is a graduate of Laurel High School ad Slippery Rock University. She is a special education teacher at a Pennsylvania cyberschool.
Her husband is a graduate of Laurel High School. He is a heavy machine operator at Foley Excavating.
The newlyweds make their home at 138 Cambridge St.
