Nicole Marie Shingledecker and Ray Donald Pence

NEW CASTLE — Nicole Marie Shingledecker and Ray Donald Pence were married at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 4, 2014, at New Bedford Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Douglas Runyan officiated.

Parents of the bride are Tim and Karen Shingledecker of West Middlesex.

Parents of the groom are Don and Ursula Pence of Pulaski.

The bride wore a satin strapless gown with beads and pearls, a corset-like top and long train.

Her rounded, hand-held bouquet contained dark blue and white roses, hydrangeas with cedar, pearls and rhinestones.

Matron of honor was Brielle Sunderman of New Wilmington.

Bridesmaids were Kristin Shingledecker, the bride’s sister, of Pittsburgh, Lauren Shingledecker, the bride’s sister, of West Middlesex and Robyn Pence, the groom’s sister, of Pulaski.

Serving as best man was Quinton Coryea of New Wilmington.

Groomsmen were Chris Powell of San Diego, Nathan Sunderman of New Wilmington and Jeremy Newton of New Castle.

Organist was Donna Fox.

The reception was held at the Gatherings Banquet and Events Center, Edinburg.

The couple spent their honeymoon at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of West Middlesex High School. She attended Gannon University and graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy in 2012.

She is a pharmacist for Walgreens.

Her husband is a 2003 graduate of Wilmington High School and 2005 graduate of Butler County Community College.

He is a sheer operator/maintenance person at Ferguson Perforating, New Castle.

The newlyweds make their home in New Wilmington.
