Alissa Suzzane Umbs and Seth Campbell were married at 3 p.m. Oct. 20, 2013, at West Overton Village, Scottdale, Pa. Pastor Brandon Johns, the groom’s best friend, officiated at the ceremony, which was in an outdoor garden.
Parents of the bride are Daniel Umbs of 2559 Blossom Lane and Holly Umbs of 312 E. Maitland Lane.
Parents of the groom are Roger and Diana Campbell of Ellwood City.
The bride wore an ivory lace gown featuring a slightly scooped neckline, satin waistband, embroidered lace appliqués, Swarovski crystals and a sweep train.
Her rounded bouquet contained sunflowers and purple button poms.
Matron of honor was Brittany Essa Brumett of Mesa, Ariz.
Bridesmaids were Lynn Campbell, the groom’s sister, of Ellwood City, Ashley Makarevich of New Castle, Kelly Kingsley of Struthers and Maria Ponzi of Youngstown.
Flower girls were Lydia McAlister and Audrey McAlister, nieces of the groom.
Ring bearer was Jacob McAlister, the groom’s nephew.
Serving as best man was Daryl Davis of Zelienople.
Groomsmen were Eddie Jacobs of Slippery Rock, Douglass Harr of New Brighton, Ethan Hill of Blacksburg, Va. and Rudy Colaizzi of Lower Burrell, Pa.
The reception was held at West Overton Village’s 1830’s brick barn.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba.
The bride is a graduate of Neshannock High School and Slippery Rock University. She is an account representative for Laurel Mountain Whirlpools.
The groom graduated from Laurel High School and Slippery Rock University. He is an insurance agent for ADM Crop Insurance.
The newlyweds make their home at 547 Hogue Road.
