NEW CASTLE —
Danielle Shover and Patrick McKinley Johnson were married at 4 p.m. Aug. 18, 2012, at First Christian Church, Washington, Pa. The Rev. William McCoy officiated.
Parents of the bride are Randy and Dorice Shover of New Wilmington.
Parents of the groom are Diane Johnson of Bethel Park and the late Rick Johnson.
The bride wore a classic Sophia Tolli organza gown with a tiara and elbow length veil, and hand placed appliqués on the strapless bodice and A-line skirt.
Her hand-tied bouquet contained sunflowers, hydrangea, gerber daisies and stephanotis.
The bride’s aunt, Colleen Rudman, and cousin, Chelsea Rudman, played flute and violin duets.
Vocalist was Michelle Jenkins who was accompanied by Kara List.
Matron of honor was Lindsay Anderson of Melbourne, Fla.
Bridesmaids were Sara Drischler ,of Grand Prairie, Texas, Olivia Seecof of Pittsburgh, Meghan Johnson, the groom’s sister of Pittsburgh, Lauren Schieb of Pittsburgh, Rebecca Morrison of New Wilmington, Christie Baker of Avon Lake, Ohio, Lisa Umbaugh of New Castle and Kelly Johnson, the groom’s sister, of Pittsburgh.
Katie Sullivan, the groom’s cousin, of Pittsburgh was flower girl.
Johnathan Gasiorowski, the groom’s godson of Bethel Park, was ring bearer.
Serving as best man was Richard Sparvero of Panama City, Fla.
Groomsmen were Jarrett Euler of South Park, Pa., Chris Bojarski of Philadelphia, Aaron Tannenbaum, the groom’s cousin, of Philadelphia and Josh Waychoff of Finleyville, Pa.
The reception was held at The George Washington Hotel, Washington.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica.
The bride is a graduate of Wilmington High School, and Washington and Jefferson College. She is an elementary school teacher.
The groom is a graduate of South Park High School, and Washington and Jefferson College and the University of Pittsburgh Law School. He is an attorney.
The newlyweds make their home in Stafford, Va.
